Learn & Embody the Japanese Healing Art of Reiki
Usui Reiki Ryoho Shoden
(Reiki Level I)
Shoden is the traditional name for the first-degree Reiki training. This course focuses on healing for yourself and others, developing energetic sensitivity, and learning the history and theory of Reiki.

Reiki is a milestone on your healing journey. This course can mark your entry point into learning how to heal yourself naturally and also deepen and empower yourself if you have already been on that journey. Reiki provides both a method and a practice for self-healing and healing for others.
If you have been feeling disempowered, tired of being tired, stuck in a rut and disconnected from your joy, you can trust Reiki to empower you in the right direction. This training offers a traditional Japanese approach to learning and practicing Reiki. It is taught in the lineage of Usui Reiki Ryoho. It’s great for beginners who want to how to practice Reiki and it is also suitable for Reiki practitioners who are seeking a traditional approach to practicing and teaching Reiki.

Usui Reiki Ryoho Okuden
(Reiki Level II)
Continue your journey of learning the healing gift of Reiki with Okuden (second-degree Reiki) training. This course expands the application of Reiki to include three healing symbols which are used extensively for both treatment of self and others.

Continue your journey of learning the healing gift of Reiki with Okuden (second-degree Reiki) training. This course expands the application of Reiki to include three sacred symbols which are used extensively for both treatment of self and others. This course also includes additional discussion, methodology and practice for giving Reiki to others, mental-emotional healing, and distance healing. Students are guided through a deeper understanding of Reiki practice with even more of the original Japanese techniques and will learn the history and context of the original symbols of the system of Reiki.

Imagine the feeling of earning your Reiki III certification: you now have the full knowledge of Reiki to use in your life for healing and growth. You can also use this knowledge to become a Reiki practitioner or blend the mind/body/spiritual medicine of Reiki into your career path in a myriad of exciting and nourishing possibilities.
Upon completion of this course, you will become a certified Reiki III Practitioner. This course will increase your knowledge and experience of Reiki. You will also learn the basics of how you can teach Reiki courses and utilize the full skillset of Reiki for the benefit of your yourself and others.
This training is not a typical Western Reiki course. It offers a traditional Japanese approach to learning and practicing Reiki and its primarily focused on Reiki as it was taught by Usui Sensei prior to Western influence.
Inside of this Reiki training, you will learn so much about the healing art of Reiki: an up-to-date understanding of the history of Reiki and it’s evolution into the West. We will be given a depth of understanding of the Japanese spiritual and cultural traditions from which Reiki was born.
If you have taken a Reiki I and II training from a Western Reiki lineage, you will be given material to review the content of Shoden (Reiki I) and Okuden (Reiki II) so that you can enter the Shinpiden (Reiki III) with a firm foundation to grow in your knowledge and experience of Reiki.

Advanced Reiki Training deviates from a traditional Japanese approach to offer a bridge between both Eastern and Western lineages of Reiki. You will gain new skills that will allow you to use Reiki meaningfully in your life both personally and professionally.

In my 15 years as a Reiki practitioner, I have had the wonderful privilege to study many diverse types of Reiki, including Tibetan/Usui Reiki, Holy Fire Reiki, Jikiden Reiki and Usui Reiki Ryoho. I have provided thousands of Reiki treatments & guided over 75 Reiki courses.
I work with Reiki enthusiasts, students & practitioners to help you gain confidence in your ability to use Reiki in your own healing process & to transmit it to others. I have a gift to make spiritual woo stuff practical and engaging even for someone who is longing to connect to their spirit but gets trapped in their logical mind.
I have recently discovered my home within Reiki, the Usui Reiki Ryoho, and I am honored to teach Reiki from this lineage. I am also an E-500hr yoga instructor, co-founder & co-producer of Reiki Women Podcasts, a Blissologist, mom, mystic & modern day healer.
My teaching of Reiki comes from a deep well of experience, embodiment and passion.

Join me for Reiki Courses in Humboldt County, CA. I offer two or three Reiki courses in-person per year. I also try to offer one Reiki training retreat per year that includes accommodation, food, a blissful retreat setting and a Reiki certification. Reiki Courses Online
Embark on your Reiki certification from the ease and comfort of your home. I offer two or three Reiki courses online per year. Look to my events page for my current Reiki course offerings. You may also wish to join the waitlist to receive notification about upcoming trainings.
1:1 Online or In-Person
If the timing doesn’t work for you or if you are eager to study Reiki as soon as possible, you can schedule time to study Reiki with me 1:1 over zoom or in-person (when applicable) in three hour teaching blocks. You can complete Reiki I and II in three meetings/nine hours total. Reiki III can be completed in four meetings/12 hours total.
“The meaning of Reiki energy within yourself: when concentrated and applied to the patient, will cure all ailments - it is nature’s greatest cure, which requires no drugs.
It helps in all respects, human and animal life. In order to concentrate, one must purify one’s thoughts in words and meditate to let the true “energy” come out from within. It lies in the bottom of the stomach about 2 inches below the navel. Sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes, concentrate on your thoughts and relax.”
